ABOUT

It started in San Francisco.

Founders Keepers was started by Ibrahim Ahmed and Abdullah Riaz, two engineers building startups of their own.

A hackathon took us to San Francisco. What stayed with us was everything around it.

People building side by side. The right person always a conversation away. Ambition nobody found unusual, because everyone around us was building something.

Then we came home to Dallas. The founders were here. So were the investors, and the talent. But the events we found were built for networking and pitching, not for building, and the people who should have known each other mostly didn’t.

So we started the community we’d been looking for. We expected a small first night. Around 120 people came.

WHAT IT IS

A community, not a program.

A place to work together, share what you’re making, and meet other founders and builders.

  1. No application.

If you’re building in DFW, or about to start, there’s a seat for you. Bring the thing you’re working on.

  2. Not a fund.

We don’t invest in companies. We bring the people building them together.

  3. Not an accelerator.

No cohort to get into and nothing to graduate from. Just the work, and everyone else doing it.
